Hispanic Heritage Month kicked off Sept. 15th and runs through Oct. 15th. The goal is to commemorate how Latino & Hispanic communities contribute and influence our society. In our industry these communities play a vital role.
Oscar Navarrete, S&N Project Manager, shares his thoughts on our industry and how it has also benefitted these communities as a whole “This industry has provided a platform for increased visibility and recognition of Hispanic Professionals, allowing individuals like myself and other Hispanic peers to feel more valued and empowered to share unique perspectives and cultural contributions, fostering a sense of belonging and opening doors to new opportunities within the workplace; this has also been beneficial for family members to have a better life and can see themselves represented in leadership roles and feel encouraged to pursue advancement with the industry just like I have.”
