Central VA Region 3 held a LDPC meeting today that S&N took part in. These meetings are very beneficial as Columbia Natural Gas Damage Prevention Specialist David Stone led the meeting and had Chesterfield Rescue come in and give a special presentation on safety procedures that each of us need to be aware of with the summer months ahead.
Molly Avery with VA811 and Chris Rush with the State Corporation Commission gave updates from each of their organizations on ticket volumes and safety issues happening in different areas.
Reminder, when receiving new first aid kits, always check the contents of the packaged items. Make sure to unwrap items that don’t need to stay sterilized. This will save needed seconds when dealing with an accident that needs attention.
