Advancing Technical Excellence

Andy Gibson, Vice President of Design and Field Services, continues to demonstrate a hands-on commitment to workforce development and industry collaboration through his recent engagement with electrical cooperatives across the state of Indiana.

While giving training in fiber splicing at the Indiana Electric Cooperatives (IEC) in Carmel, Indiana, our staff took the time to work directly with co-op personnel, providing in-depth instruction on fiber splicing and modern fiber operations—skills that are increasingly critical to the future of electric and broadband infrastructure.

The training sessions at IEC in Carmel reflected a broader commitment to paving the way for a brighter tomorrow within the cooperative community. As co-ops continue to modernize their networks and expand services, knowledge transfer and technical education play a vital role in long-term success. S&N Infrastructures’ willingness to share its expertise underscores the value of collaboration across the industry and the importance of investing in people as much as infrastructure.

Showing co-op employees, the proper methods for fiber splicing and providing deeper insight into fiber operations helped equip Indiana’s electric cooperatives with the tools and understanding needed to meet future demands. Our efforts at the IEC training event stand as a strong example of leadership through service—advancing technical excellence, strengthening partnerships, and supporting the continued growth and resilience of cooperative systems across the region.
