The grandstands were full. The midway was packed. And the conversations never stopped.
Last night at Langley Speedway for the CARS Tour Visit Hampton 125, our team had the opportunity to connect with hundreds of race fans, families, workers, business owners, and future industry professionals from across the region.
While the racing action kept everyone on the edge of their seat, the real value for us happened between the races.
We spent the evening educating people about safe digging, promoting the importance of calling 811 before excavation, sharing what S&N Infrastructure does across the utility industry, and introducing our company to individuals who had never heard of us before.
Events like this are about much more than having our logo on display
They’re about building relationships.
They’re about increasing awareness of damage prevention.
They’re about strengthening our presence in the communities we serve.
And they’re about creating opportunities to connect with future employees, customers, partners, and industry advocates.
The utility industry touches nearly every person in the stands, even if they don’t realize it. Last night gave us the chance to tell that story.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, asked questions, grabbed some giveaways, and spent time with our team. Your support made a long day more than worth it.
The race may have ended when the checkered flag flew, but the conversations and connections we made will continue long after the lights went out.
That’s why we’re here. That’s why we invest in our communities. And that’s why we continue showing up.
