Sam Viars from Safety Manager to Director of Safety for S&N

Sam brings more than four decades of experience in public safety, insurance claims, and corporate safety management. Since joining S&N in 2011, he has led corporate safety initiatives overseeing safety programs for more than 1,000 employees nationwide. His expertise in OSHA compliance, incident investigation, and training program development has played a vital role in supporting operational excellence across the organization.

 

Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and family at their cabin on the New River in southwest Virginia. His greatest joy these days is spending time with his first grandchild.
