Powell started in the infrastructure construction industry in 2011. His hard work and innovation led him to start AAP1, LLC (“AAP”) in 2015. Powell’s reputation, dedication, and the quality of his team’s work led to AAP growing to become one of the largest direction drilling companies in central Virginia.
After S&N was created in 2018, Powell sold his interests in AAP to the new S&N entity and became a Project Manager with S&N and a Board Member of AAP. Powell has been very successful in managing both in-house and subcontracting crews for these affiliated entities and was promoted to Chief Revenue Officer for S&N Infrastructure in February 2026 while maintaining his position as Vice President of Underground Construction.
